Lower Kindergarten program:
At this age children prepare themselves for a formal school experience. The teacher thoughtfully plans the environment, offering many visible choices, based on the children’s skills and needs. The program involves reflective practices, encouraging free expression of ideas and possibilities with multiple outcomes. Our projects allow the LKG children to study a topic in more depth. Language is reinforced through letter-sound relationship, introducing high frequency words, rhyming and three letter words. The LKG curriculum is constantly evolving in response to children’s strengths and needs. The teachers focus on an inquiry-based approach to build curiosity and a genuine love for learning. The teachings are based on learning goals and an all-round development of milestones to meet the academic expectations of the elementary school standards, so that the children make a successful transition.
Admissions to Lower Kindergarten are based on seat availability.

A typical day schedule for the Lower Kindergarten Program
8:30 am – 9:00 am – Free Play- Outdoor play, water play and home corner activities/yoga/meditation
9:00 am – 9:30 am – Singing time/circle time
9:30 am – 10:10 am – Instruction based activities – pre-math, language & project 10:10 am – 10:40 am – Brief recap activity/snack time
10:40 am – 11.20 am – Instruction based activities – pre-math language & project/gymnastics/football/art program
11:20 am – 11.30 am – Story time
11:30 am – 11:50 am – Manipulative equipment/puzzles
11:50 am – 12:00 pm – Goodbye & dispersal/ Transition to Daycare program
- Educators observe the children as they learn, take photographs, and document what children say as they learn. Our rooms are filled with evidence of children’s learning through play and discovery.
- Learning within our programs is made visible through observation and documentation.
- All the programs are carefully designed towards enhancing the core areas of progression for a child – fine & large motor, intellectual, language, creative & aesthetic development.
